TrackDriver magazine is a bi-monthly publication for trackday and racing enthusiasts, packed with track tests, technical features and practical advice, by the best writers and driver coaches we could find - Simon McBeath, Mark Hales and Dave Walker are regarded as the best technical journalists in the UK. And you will find them together only in TrackDriver magazine where every track driver turns.

We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoy putting it together.

The app version provides click-through links to useful web pages, zoom for easier reading and photo zoom-in, thumbnail view and a click-through table of content. The new Issue Browser allows you to choose between included Issues.

Future upgrades are planned to include Issue downloads and Back-Copy Purchase. In time, we plan to provide video footage, 3D models and other useful enhancements.

The app showcases Issues 9 and 10. Issue 10 includes the following features:

* Columnist Bernie Meldrew: our maestro of diplomacy and tact on the BTCC

* Showtime: the show stopping TrackDriver stand at the Autosport International Racing Car Show. Also, a pre-view of this February’s Race Retro Show at Stoneleigh Park where the TrackDriver stand can be found in Hall 2, Stand B6.

* MoT test: changes to the MoT test could have major implications for specialised trackday cars - Charles White reports

* Caterham F1: we not only snoop around the factory, prod and poke the cars, we interview Mike Gascoyne, too - Stacy Vickers had the pleasure

* Coaching Corner, Oversteer: Mark Hales reckons oversteer is fun and a skill well worth researching, but…

* Mazda 3 MPS vs BBR: a pair of MPS’s, both a wolf in sheep’s clothing, one however has a greater bite - Mark Hales track tests them at Rockingham

* Porsche Cayman R vs Boxster CSL: brand new Cayman R and tuned but elderly Boxster S – unlikely track mates, but both offer surprising value (and talent) for money, argues Jim Cameron

* Walkers Wisdom, Rolling Road Disasters: what could possibly go wrong? You’d be surprised reckons Dave Walker, having survived several close shaves…

* Trackday Tyres: our tyre guru Ray Collier on the differences between road and trackday tyre compounds

* Team Cars: Lotus Cortina engine rebuild, the Escort’s glass is replaced with polycarbonate and the Alfa Romeo Sprint is preparing for the race season ahead, whereas it’s chilly underfoot for the Porsche Boxster S and Lancia Delta HF.
